A district court in Jerusalem is set to resume Israel PM Netanyahu`s corruption case on Tuesday, after a pause of more than two months due to the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza, stated a report in the PTI. According to the report, the trial, known as Case 4000 or the Bezeq-Walla bribery case, alleges that Benjamin Netanyahu favoured Bezeq Telecommunications in exchange for positive media coverage on the Walla website, previously owned by Bezeq.
Scheduled to restart, the Jerusalem District Court will continue hearing Israel PM Netanyahu`s corruption case. In June, the judges in the case suggested dropping the bribery charge, but the prosecution chose to proceed, conducting testimonies before the break, the PTI report stated.
