President Joe Biden reaffirmed the United States` steadfast and unwavering support for Israel in the wake of recent attacks by the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Speaking from the White House, President Biden emphasized Israel`s right to defend itself and its citizens, condemning the "terrorist assaults" that have resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives, PTI reported.
Over the weekend, Hamas launched a barrage of rocket attacks on Israel, marking one of the most significant escalations in decades, resulting in over 200 casualties in Israel. In response, Israel conducted a series of airstrikes on Gaza, resulting in more than 230 reported casualties.
