India stands as third-largest startup ecosystem: Union Minister Anurag Thakur

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur on Monday said that with over one lakh startups, India has solidified its position as the third-largest startup nation. The minister also said that more than one lakh government jobs were given at `Rozgar Melas` across India.
Speaking at the Rozgar Mela in Punjab`s Jalandhar, Thakur emphasized that PM Modi has fulfilled his promise of providing 10 lakh jobs in a year, adding that the Rozgar Melas were organised at 47 different locations across the country.
