Telangana Congress to charge Rs 50,000 fee from contenders for Assembly polls

The Telangana Congress has begun accepting applications from individuals aspiring to contest the state Assembly elections, scheduled to be held later this year, starting Friday, according to a senior party leader

The Telangana Congress has begun accepting applications from individuals aspiring to contest the state Assembly elections, scheduled to be held later this year, starting Friday, according to a senior party leader.
Following the Karnataka Congress, the Telangana unit will introduce a nomination fee of Rs 25,000 for candidates from SC, ST, and physically challenged categories, and Rs 50,000 for others.
