President Droupadi Murmu offered condolences to the bereaved families of those who died in a boat accident in Madhya Pradesh`s Sheopur district on Saturday.
"The news of the death of many people including children in a boat accident in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh is extremely sad. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured," the President said in a post on `X`. At least seven people died as a boat capsized in the Seep River in Madhya Pradesh`s Sheopur. The seven deceased included five children, police said adding that the boat was ferrying a total of eleven people.
