Oppn slams govt over alleged Adani connection in environment ministry committee

The Modi administration has been under fire from opposition parties for allegedly assigning Janardhan Chaudhary, an employee of the Adani business, to the Environment Ministry`s Expert Appraisal Committees (EAC). Because Chaudhary is a member of this significant committee, which was established to approve many power projects, including those carried out by the Adani Group, it is said that he has conflicts of interest, according to agency reports.
Kerala Congress expressed worry about Chaudhary`s involvement in approving six Adani projects, including the latest clearance of Adani`s 1500 MW Satara plant, on their official account, highlighting Chaudhary`s affiliation with Adani.
