Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu welcomed the Election Commission of India (ECI)`s decision to postpone the Punjab Assembly elections.
Addressing a press conference in Amritsar, Sidhu said, "We welcome the ECI`s decision to postpone the Punjab Assembly elections." Speaking further at the press conference, Sidhu said, "He (Ferozepur Rural candidate Ashu Banger, who quits Aam Aadmi Party today) will be joining the Congress party."
