Maratha quota: A group of Maratha reservation activists reportedly torched the first floor of the Majalgaon Municipal Council building and vandalised it in Maharashtra`s Beed district, soon after setting on fire the residence of local Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Prakash Solanke on Monday, the police said, reported the PTI.
The residence of MLA Prakash Solanke in Beed district was reportedly set on fire and stones were hurled at it on Monday amid fresh violence over the demand for Maratha quota, the police said, reported the PTI.
