Woman found dead in Chandrapur, 4-year-old son remains beside corpse overnight

A pregnant woman, in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, who had set out with her 4-year-old son to get ice cream was found dead on Thursday morning near a river bridge.

A pregnant woman, in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, who had set out with her 4-year-old son to get ice cream was found dead on Thursday morning near a river bridge. The young child had sat beside his mother`s lifeless body throughout the night, according to a police official.
The incident occurred when Sushma Kakde, along with her son Durvansh, left her residence in Teachers` Colony, Ballarpur, at approximately 9:30 pm on Wednesday but failed to return within the expected timeframe. Superintendent of Police Ravindra Singh Pardesi reported that her husband, Pawankumar Kakde, who works at a bank, and other family members initiated a search when she didn`t return as planned.
