The Nagpur Police in Maharashtra have registered a case against disqualified Congress MLA Sunil Kedar for taking out a huge procession and disrupting traffic after his release from jail, an official said on Thursday, reported the PTI.
According to the PTI, Sunil Kedar, the five-term MLA from Saoner in Maharashtra`s Nagpur district, was sentenced to five years in jail on December 22, 2023, by a magistrate`s court in a case related to irregularities at the Nagpur District Central Cooperative Bank (NDCCB) of which he was chairman from 1999 to 2002, as per the PTI.
