After Congress workers showed black flags to BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut for India General Elections 2024, Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Jairam Thakur urged the Election Commission of India to take cognisance of the incident, saying that the Model Code of Conduct has been violated, reported news agency ANI.
Thakur also raised suspicions over the administration allowing Congress to carry out a procession in Lahaul and Spiti district right before the public meeting of BJP was about to start.
