Governor suspends Nagpur University Vice Chancellor after several complaints

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais has removed Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University`s Vice Chancellor Dr Subhash Chaudhari from his post in the wake of several complaints against him. Dr Chaudhari was appointed the VC of Nagpur University in August 2020, and his tenure has been full of controversies.
The Vice-Chancellor of Gondwana University Dr Prashant Bokare has been directed to take charge from Dr Chaudhari.
