Goa Police arrested a man from Mumbai on Tuesday on charges of kidnapping a minor girl who resided in a hostel, an officer confirmed. According to a report in ANI, the accused was identified as 21-year-old Akshay Manohar Tayde who is a resident of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
According to Mapusa`s sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), Jivba Dalvi, the hostel`s warden reported the event on Sunday, January 7. According to the complaint, a 14-year-old girl left the hostel in the afternoon to go shopping at Mapusa Market and did not return, the ANI report stated.
