Friendship is one of the most sacred bonds in the lives of many. A friend is someone who supports you and makes every journey enjoyable. A common, traditional way to celebrate the Friendship Day is by tying a decorative thread on your friend’s wrist as a symbol of your friendship and love. In 2023, this day falls on July 30.
Though the United Nations General Assembly recognise July 30 as the official International Friendship Day, several countries such as India, observe it on the first Sunday of the month of August. As such, for countries like India, the date may vary, while the day of the week remains the same.
