The ongoing Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has sparked controversy as Police in Assam’s Jorhat registered a case against some individuals associated with the yatra for allegedly deviating from the original route.
Reacting to the case, Congress General Secretary for Communications, Jairam Ramesh, claimed on Friday that no rules had been broken during the yatra. He accused Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of intentionally trying to hinder people from joining the yatra.
