According to a <a href="https://blog.swiggy.com/easy-pickings/swiggy-year-end-stateatistics-what-india-ordered-in-2019" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">report</a> by food delivery app Swiggy, Indians have ordered for an average on 95 biryanis per minute in 2019 across India.
While Chicken Sajuk Biryani in Pune was sold for Rs 1,500, Mumbai's Chal Dhanno Tawa Biryani was the most pocket-friendly one. It was sold at a price of Rs 19.
As for the desserts, Gulab Jamun bagged the top spot with a total of 1769399 orders while the second place was grabbed by Falooda with a total of 1194732 orders. Other favourite desserts included tender coconut ice cream,&nbsp;death by chocolate,&nbsp;Kesar halwa and&nbsp;tiramisu ice cream.
Other dishes which bagged a spot in the top 10 dishes were Paneer Butter Masala, Masala Dosa, Tandoori Chicken, Dal Makhani among others.
