BJP`s candidate from Kolkata Uttar LS submitted a complaint to West Bengal`s Chief Electoral Officer on Saturday, seeking EC`s intervention.

Tapas Roy, the BJP candidate for the Kolkata-Uttar Lok Sabha seat in West Bengal, has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission (EC) against Trinamool Congress candidate Sudip Bandopadhyay. Roy accuses Bandopadhyay of operating his party office within a renowned school located in the constituency.
Roy submitted the complaint on Saturday at the office of West Bengal`s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), urging the EC to address the issue. He alleges that Bandopadhyay has unlawfully occupied a room within the school premises and is conducting election-related activities from there, reported IANS.
