Assam: Drugs worth Rs 8.5 crore seized, four arrested

The seized contraband include 20,000 Yaba tablets and 418 gms of brown sugar

Drugs worth Rs 8.5 crore have been seized and four persons have been arrested in two separate operations in Assam`s Cachar district on Friday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, reported news agency PTI.
In a post on X, the cheif minister said,"In two successful anti-narcotic drives conducted by @cachar police, it seized a huge swath of narcotic substances"
