10-year-old girl found with burn injuries in Karauli dies during treatment

Police stated on Wednesday that a 10-year-old girl with speech and hearing impairments who was discovered near her home in Karauli district with burn injuries under mysterious circumstances passed away while receiving treatment at SMS hospital in Jaipur. They added that a murder case has been filed against unnamed individuals. According to Brijesh Upadhyaya, Superintendent of Police in Karauli, the incident took place on May 9th under the jurisdiction of the Nai Mandi police station. The girl was discovered 150 yards from her home with approximately 60% burn damage. According to him, the girl passed away on May 21 from serious burn injuries after being admitted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur the same day. He said that a sign language specialist assisted in recording the girl`s statement.
According to a PTI report, she pointed to one man in the pictures of the suspects that she had been shown, the man whose farm she had been discovered. The man is being questioned, according to the SP, even though no arrests have been made as of yet. According to him, the girl did not exhibit any signs of sexual assault, and the kid`s doctors concurred. To gather information, the matter is being looked at. The SP stated that because she was discovered next to a transformer, there is a preliminary suspicion that she was electrocuted and had burn injuries. On Wednesday, IG (Bharatpur) Rahul Prakash met with officials to go over the investigation`s progress and examined the crime scene.
