On Thursday, Mumbai recorded 1,946 new Covid-19 cases during the day, which took its caseload to 6,84,048, while the fresh fatalities pushed the death toll to 14,076. According to the civic body, there are 85 containment zones in Mumbai, where 432 buildings have been sealed to break the chain of the virus.
