Amid the political crisis in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena leaders Aaditya Thackeray, Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai and other senior members met at Matoshree in Bandra on June 26 to discuss the future course of action. Currently, rebel Sena MLA Eknath Shinde is camping in Guwahati with 38 MLAs and other independent legislators.
