Thane: TMC to observe Democracy Day on October 3, hear public grievances

Thane Municipal Corporation has announced that it will observe “Lokshahi Day” (Democracy Day) on October 3, inviting citizens to participate by submitting their grievances and requests by September 18. This initiative aims to provide residents with a platform to address their concerns and seek solutions to various issues, Department of Public Relations said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to municipal authorities, citizens are encouraged to submit their applications and requests 15 days before the scheduled Day. This means that the deadline for submissions is September 18. Interested individuals can drop off their applications at the Municipal Corporation Building or the Civic Service Centre. To facilitate the process, the Municipal Corporation has made available Form-1 (B) at the Civic Service Centre for citizens to fill out when submitting their requests.
