In Thane, a man has been taken into custody for allegedly beating a close relative to death and causing injuries to her 14-year-old son during a dispute, as reported by the local police on Sunday.

According to the report in PTI, the suspect, identified as Sanju Vilas Lokhande, aged 30, was arrested during the early hours of the day. He is facing charges under sections 302 (murder) and 307 (attempted murder) of the Indian Penal Code, according to an official statement.
