Thane man shoots wife, dies soon after due to suspected heart attack

Dileep Salvi, brother of Thane`s ex-mayor Ganesh Salvi, shot his wife Pramila after an argument escalated on Friday, and later died of a heart attack

A couple was found dead at their residence in Thane city on Saturday morning. A report in PTI said that the 56-year-old man allegedly shot his 51-year-old wife. Soon after he collapsed and died, seemingly due to a heart attack. The deceased were identified as Dileep Salvi and his wife Pramila. The police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder.
The incident transpired around 10.15 pm on Friday in Yashwant Nivas building, situated in Kumbhar Ali of Kalwa, the police said.
