A day after a devastating tanker explosion claimed four lives and left six injured on the premises of Century Rayon factory in Thane district, Maharashtra, authorities made a grim discovery on Sunday as they found "body parts" in nearby buildings, according to a senior official.
According to the PTI report, among the injured, one individual remains in serious condition. The tragic incident unfolded at the manufacturing unit of Century Rayon in Shahad, located 60 km from Mumbai. According to the company`s statement, a third-party tanker, which had recently arrived for inspection before filling, suffered a rupture around 11:15 am on Saturday, leading to the catastrophic explosion. The blast was of such magnitude that individuals in proximity to the tanker were tragically blown into pieces.
