The Ulhasnagar Crime Branch has solved the murder of a 48-year-old man, Ramesh Jha, and arrested his three alleged killers as well as the deceased’s wife. The trio were nabbed at Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in Delhi.
The police, during the investigation, found that Jha’s wife, Suman, and her boyfriend, who is absconding, gave a supari of Rs 30 lakh to three accused who came from Delhi to kill the deceased. Jha resided in Ambernath and was employed by a private firm while Suman lived in Delhi with their children. By the end of 2023, she had started living with her husband in Ambarnath. According to the police, Jha’s body was found on February 25 near a petrol pump on a stretch between Ambarnath and Badlapur.
