Nationalist Congress Party (SP) leader Supriya Sule expressed concerns on Tuesday about the violence in Manipur, querying why the northeastern state is treated so poorly despite being a vital part of India.
Per a PTI report, speaking to the media, Baramati MP Sule mentioned a terror attack in Jammu as Narendra Modi was inducted in as Prime Minister for a third term. She, while responding to a query on RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat`s remark, stated, "We have been questioning the government over the Manipur issue for months. A lot of discussions took place in the Parliament over the Manipur situation. Manipur is an integral part of the country. The people, women, children there are Indians."
