Several Shiv Sena ministers in Maharashtra`s cabinet met with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday, urging action against BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad over what they see as unfounded claims against Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, according to a report in PTI.
Per the PTI report, on February 2, Kalyan East MLA Ganpat Gaikwad allegedly opened fire on local Shiv Sena leader Mahesh Gaikwad and another person at the Hill Line police station in Ulhasnagar, Thane district. He was later arrested on allegations of attempted murder and other crimes.
