Raut accused the BJP-led state government of disregarding the Constitution and the law, and he held the BJP responsible for the division within Shiv Sena.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut, criticised the Shinde Government on Friday, alleging that democracy is under siege in Maharashtra. Raut accused the BJP-led state government of disregarding the Constitution and the law, and he held the BJP responsible for the division within Shiv Sena, an ANI report stated.
In a statement, Raut remarked, "The Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is not part of the delegation going to Ghana under the leadership of Om Birla to strengthen democracy at the international level. What is the state of democracy here? For a year, they have been governing in direct violation of the Constitution, the law, and the Supreme Court."
