Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan will officially open the much-awaited Sahar Elevated Road for traffic on February 12. The six-lane approach road has four entry and two exit points.

This 2-km stretch has been funded under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 287.37 crore. The road will help reduce travel time and help passengers get to the airport in a short span.
