Republic Day 2024: Western Railway GM Ashok Kumar Misra leads celebrations

The Western Railway celebrated the 75th Republic Day at Mahalaxmi Sports Ground in Mumbai. The general manager, Ashok Kumar Misra, unfurled the national flag and greeted the railway community.

The Western Railway celebrated the 75th Republic Day at Mahalaxmi Sports Ground in Mumbai with great zeal. Western Railway`s general manager, Ashok Kumar Misra, saluted during the March Past, unfurled the national flag, and greeted the railway community.
After seeing the ceremonial procession in a stately manner, Misra spoke to the crowd on Republic Day. He applauded Western Railway for its recent accomplishments and significant anniversaries including the celebration of the Western Railways` headquarters completing 125 years, thanking the company as a whole for winning Efficiency Shields for exceptional performance in 2023.
