The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Friday announced a holiday for its employees on January 22 in view of the day when the idol consecration ceremony will take place at the new Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, an official circular said.
According to the civic body`s statement, the employees of emergency services like fire brigade, disaster management, Deonar abattoir and hospitals were excluded from the holiday.
