On Monday evening, three funeral processions simultaneously made their way from different houses in Pereira Wadi, mourning the tragic loss of three boys who drowned at Marve Beach on Sunday.
Ajay Harijan, Nikhil alias Appu Kayampura, and Shubham Jaiswal, close friends living in the same locality and studying in the same school, met a tragic fate together. The entire community was deeply affected, with tears flowing from every person present at the procession. The families were in indescribable mental anguish, bidding their final farewells at the Charkop Hindu cemetery. Nikhil’s father, Shaji, rushed back to India upon hearing the news of his only son’s death, while his mother, who was in their native village.
