Palghar man kills wife over suspicions on her fidelity; held

In Maharashtra`s Palghar, a 35-year-old tribal man was arrested by the police. The man allegedly murdered his wife, suspecting her fidelity, senior police inspector Sanjay Bramhane told PTI on Tuesday.

In Maharashtra`s Palghar, a 35-year-old tribal man was arrested by the police. The man allegedly murdered his wife, suspecting her fidelity, senior police inspector Sanjay Bramhane told PTI on Tuesday. The incident occurred late on Sunday night in Khiroda village, Jawhar taluka, the report added.
The suspect allegedly used a sharp weapon to attack his wife (aged 32) leading to her immediate demise. According to the report, upon being notified, the police reached the spot and sent the dead body to a government hospital for a post-mortem. Meanwhile, the accused was arrested and charged under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for the murder.
