Maharashtra`s Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, announced on Monday that the state`s police force has been successful in reuniting over 35,000 missing children with their parents since 2015 through "Operation Muskan." Addressing the state assembly, Fadnavis highlighted the accomplishments of this initiative.

Maharashtra`s Deputy Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, announced on Monday that the state`s police force has been successful in reuniting over 35,000 missing children with their parents since 2015 through "Operation Muskan." Addressing the state assembly, Fadnavis highlighted the accomplishments of this initiative.
Fadnavis reported that in 2021, the Maharashtra police successfully brought back 96% of missing children, followed by 91% in 2022. For the current year, up until now, 71% of missing children have been reunited with their families. He also noted that "Operation Muskan," in operation since 2015, has received praise from the Parliament for its success.
