The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) led by Sharad Pawar criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday for accusing the INDIA bloc of performing "mujra" to secure votes, questioning if such language is appropriate for a Prime Minister.
During election rallies in Bihar, Modi claimed he would prevent the INDIA bloc from allegedly depriving Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs) of their rights in favour of Muslims. "They may remain enslaved and perform `mujra` to please their vote bank," Modi said.
