City finally experiences winter-like conditions, as temperature drops to 16 degrees Celsius

After experiencing hot and humid conditions for nearly two weeks, Mumbaikars finally woke up to a nip in the air. With the minimum temperature plummeting to 16 degrees Celsius, Mumbai recorded the season’s coldest day on Saturday.
On Friday, the Santa Cruz Observatory of the IMD recorded a minimum temperature of 19.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature dropped by 3.6 degrees Celsius in a day. Similarly, IMD’s Colaba observatory recorded 21.2 degrees Celsius on Friday, which dropped to 18.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
