Mumbai: Woman falls into Metro duct, survives

A woman fell into a duct filled with water at the site of Metro construction at D N Nagar Andheri. The video of the incident went viral on social media. The woman is alive and well, BMC officials have said.
Vishwas Mote, assistant commissioner of K West ward, said that the incident took place near the Andheri Goregaon Link Road at D N Nagar Metro Station. “The construction work of the Metro 2A project is going on at this place and hence the site is under the Metro 2A project. There is a cable duct of utilities,” said Mote. After the video went viral, the team from K west ward visited the place of the incident.
