Mumbai weather update: Earlier on Tuesday, Mumbai and its suburbs received moderate to heavy rainfall during the day and the weather department has issued an orange alert for the city for Wednesday

The Regional Meteorological Center, Mumbai on Wednesday said that the districts of Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and Raigad are very likely to witness "intense spells of rain" during the next 3-4 hours. "Occasional strong winds very likely," the weather forecasting center said on Twitter.
Earlier on Tuesday, Mumbai and its suburbs received moderate to heavy rainfall during the day and the weather department has issued an orange alert for the city for Wednesday, July 19, predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places, officials said.
