In proof that no tragedy is big enough to make the city’s speedsters mend their ways, a hit-and-run took place near Haji Ali yesterday, barely 48 hours after advocate Janhavi Gadkar killed two people and injured three while driving drunk on the Eastern Freeway on Tuesday.
Around 1.25 am yesterday, the driver of a black Skoda, who was speeding at over 100 kmph, rammed a biker from behind at the Haji Ali junction and, without even making an effort to stop, increased the speed and fled the spot.
