A residential society in Virar West is up in arms after a speeding car hurtled into its premises and rammed into a compound wall after damaging a parked car. While the residents have claimed that the offender has a history of rash driving, the driver claims his car suffered a glitch in its brakes.
The accident took place at Kalpavruksha Complex, comprising 13 buildings in Virar West, where the local residents told mid-day that the incident took place in the wee hours of Saturday when the driver Sumeet Singh entered the society premises in his speeding car and dashed into the parking wall where another car was parked.
