The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday said that in order to save Dharavi, remove the Adani Group from the Dharavi redevelopment project.

“The residents of Dharavi have not been adequately consulted, resulting in opposition to the project. There is also a lack of clarity regarding the policy for small business owners and home-based businesses in the redevelopment plan. The people of Dharavi are demanding representation in the project and transparency in the development plan,” AAP Mumbai’s president Preeti Sharma Menon said.
