The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an `orange alert` in Thane and Navi Mumbai on Wednesday. The weather department has predicted that intense spells of rain are very likely to occur at isolated places.
Meanwhile, Mumbai, which was earlier placed under orange alert, has now been put on yellow alert. “Moderate to intense spells of rain is very likely to occur at isolated places,” the IMD said.
