Mumbai: One dead as wall of chawl collapses in Colaba

One person died after a compound wall of a Chawl collapsed in Mumbai’s Colaba on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Akbar. He was 38.

One person died after a compound wall of a Chawl collapsed in Mumbai’s Colaba on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Akbar. He was 38.
Officials said that the compound wall at Miyan Chawl collapsed at around 2:48 in the afternoon on Sunday. The Chawl is located near Gazali Dargah, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.3, Cuffe Parade, Colaba.
