Police on Monday said that a 56-year-old election officer died after suffering a heart attack at a polling booth in Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency where voting was underway in the fifth phase of India General Elections 2024.
According to a PTI report, the deceased, Sunil Laxman, was deployed for polling duty at St Paul`s High School in Parel`s Bhoiwada area.
