CR to operate night mega block on both main and harbour line on Sunday

The Central Railway CR will operate Night Mega Block on both its main line and harbour line including transharbour this weekend The block will be between midnight of Saturday February 24 to early morning of Sunday February 25 the CR has informed in its recent update on Mumbai local trainsMain line blockOn CRs main line night block will be between Matunga and Mulund on both Up and Down Fast lines from 0030 hrs of Saturday to 0430 hrs of Sunday During the block period Fast line services will be diverted on Slow line at Mulund station halting as per their respective scheduled halts Between Matunga and Mulund stations trains will be rediverted on Fast line at Matunga and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule the CR has informedOn longdistance trains the CR has informed that mailexpress trains leaving CSMT Dadar will be diverted on Slow line at Matunga and will be rediverted on Fast line at Mulund during the block period While mailexpress trains arriving CSMT Dadar will be diverted on Slow line at Mulund and will be rediverted on Fast line at Matunga during the block periodHarbour line blockOn harbour line the central railway will operate block between Panvel and Vashi on both UP and Down services from 0040 am of Saturday to 0440 hrs of Sunday The block will exclude Nerul BelapurKharkopar Port line servicesOn Harbour line night block will be for trains going towards CSMT leaving from 0355 hrs of Sunday Belapur local to 427 hrs of Sunday Panvel local While Harbour line services to PanvelBelapur leaving CSMT from 2330 pm of Saturday to 0040 hrs of Sunday will remain suspendedOn transharbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel from 2318 hrs of Saturday to 0433 hrs of Sunday and services towards Panvel leaving Thane at 0005 hrs will remain suspendedTransharbour line services will be available between ThaneVashiNerul stations during the block period the central railway informedWestern RailwayWestern Railway WR will also carry night block The night block between Mumbai Central and Mahim stations on Sunday WR said that jumbo block of 0330 hours will be under taken on up and down fast lines from 0030 hrs to 0400 hrs between Mumbai Central and Mahim stations in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday
