A 20-year-old woman and her paramour, who were staying in a live-in relationship, were attacked by two jilted lovers of the woman with acid-like fluid when they were asleep in Nalasopara East.
As per the doctors, it has been analysed that `it was not an acid but boiling oil that caused superficial burn injuries,` said police.
