GRP personnel carried Pooja Soni on a wheelchair to the medical room at Bandra station
A pregnant woman who fell on her stomach while deboarding a train on Thursday was given timely treatment thanks to the Bandra GRP, whose personnel immediately rushed her to a hospital. The Bandra GRP personnel transported the woman on a wheelchair to the station’s emergency medical room due to non-availability of a lift on the platform where she fell. The hospital doctors released her after treatment.
The woman, Pooja Ajay Soni, 40, a resident of Nalasopara, was travelling in the handicapped compartment due to the rush on the train. While getting down from the compartment, she fell on her stomach and started to experience severe pain. She was travelling with her sister, Dnyandevi Sonar, 39.
