Mumbai: Fire breaks out in Santacruz near Milan subway, one dead

A fire has broke out in a basement of a six floored building in Santacruz near Milan subway. The Mumbai Fire Brigade has reached the spot and fire fighting operations are on.

A fire broke out around 5 pm near Milan subway in Santacruz West. The fire is in the basement of Dheeraj Heritage- a six floored commercial building. No injuries reported yet. However, as per the BMC two females are likely trapped in the basement.
As per BMC`s updated information, a 45-years old female has died in the fire. The victim was taken to Cooper hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
