The new year began on a serendipitous note for 18 lucky individuals who had the opportunity to meet Amitabh Bachchan on the evening of December 31, as part of the actor’s Sunday Darshan ritual. They received gifts from the actor himself, including Kaun Banega Crorepati merchandise.
On New Year’s Eve, a large crowd gathered outside the actor’s Jalsa residence to catch a glimpse of him, as they do every weekend. Amid the chaos, Bachchan personally invited 18 people inside the bungalow to meet them. Fans speaking to mid-day expressed that this meeting was a wonderful new year gift.
